Jack McCahill Has Become Of Counsel to the Firm
Rothwell, Figg is pleased to announce that John ("Jack") McCahill has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Mr. McCahill's diverse experience includes intellectual property, complex white collar crime, securities fraud, defamation, violations of export controls and the defense of corporate and public officials. He has also represented clients in Congressional hearings and investigations. During 1973-74, as principal deputy to James St. Clair, Special Counsel to the President, Mr. McCahill was one of the two attorneys who represented President Richard Nixon in the House Judiciary Committee Impeachment Hearings. Prior to his service at The White House, Mr. McCahill served for four years as Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, where he represented the United States in more than one hundred cases. He is an expert in the law of Olympic and amateur sports, and was Special Counsel to the U.S. Olympic Committee from 1977-1985. |
