Mr. Llorin's patent prosecution experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications in biotechnology, particularly in the fields of DNA probe and antibody-based diagnostics. Prior to joining Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck, P.C., Mr. Llorin procured patent rights for Becton Dickinson Diagnostic Systems and TriPath Oncology, Inc. Mr. Llorin has also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Randall R. Rader, Circuit Judge, at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and biotech Administrative Patent Judges at the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Llorin’s current work focuses on patent prosecution, supporting freedom-to-operate evaluations and litigation in the pharmaceutical field.
